"Surely not suited for beginners who would like to learn Data Structure from scratch. Overshoots to the advanced concepts that would be required by experts only."
Review By: Joseph H. R. Isaac
This book has advanced topics that cannot be easily understood by a person who wants to learn data structure from the beginning. It explains thoroughly about Algorithm Analysis but from a Data Structures point of view, it doesn't show simple examples to explain the concept. If you want to study Algorithm Analysis, then this is the book for you. But if you want to learn Data Structures, then read this book after you know the basics as it only contains advanced uses and concepts of various data types, such as trees.
A summary will be as follows:
- Advanced concepts are present.
- Good for experts.
- Good reference book for Algorithm Analysis.
- Too complex at places.
- Not suited for people who want to learn Data Structure from the beginning.
- Must have a good programming knowledge to understand the codes.
Surely not suited for beginners who would like to learn Data Structure from scratch. Overshoots to the advanced concepts that would be required by experts only.
