Can i apply LFDA to images?

You can apply it after extracting features from an image (I assume you already have class labels) such that each row in of your data set represent an image and each column represent a feature.

If you want to try it on image without class labels then go for PCA. You will see that the image can be constructed using eigen vectors corresponding to top N eigen values. The more you reduce the dimensions, more will the image become blurry.
